Wednesday

Has anything good happened today?

1~Was asked if I wanted to increase my hours at work. I immediately declined - though nice to be asked. I would have a nervous breakdown if I moved to full time hours and even less would get done at home (if that is possible)!

2~Wore my purple tights. I love them and have been asked by a complete stranger where I got them.

3~Going to bed with my hot water bottle and book.

2~Buying a couple of baby gifts. Decisions, decisions!

3~Peace. Master A was so tired out from yesterday he went straight to bed. I was at a loose end. What to do? I did some of Mister T's jigsaw - 1000 pieces almost done - hurrah!

Wedesday

1~ A short day at work. Having dug ourselves out we eventually got into work and before I knew it, it was lunchtime and then it was home time! The end of my working week. Hurrah!!

2~Master T with his little friend Master D. He ran into nursery late, showed Master D his leaflet about the Mallard and then gave it back to daddy to take care of while he was busy at nursery. Lovely!

3~The peacefulness (don't think of the stress) of driving to work after a very heavy overnight snow fall - well the first partof the journey anyway.

April Already

Where has the time gone? It's grandad's birthday today. He's 75. Master T sang happy birthday to him over the phone tonight. It was soooooooooooooo sweet.

It seems it was a lovely day today - it was when I emerged from work around 4.30pm and was dazzled by the sunshine. I had been on a course all day and had almost lost the will to live. Fingers crossed that the sun will shining on us again tomorrow.

Back to work

Up at the crack of dawn, out shortly afterwards - it was so dark - and off to nursery and work. Poor Master T didn't know what had hit him, but he was soon in the swing of things looking for diggers as we drove into town. Unfortunately they were few and far between this morning. He wasn't keen to go to nursery and wouldn't get out of the car. I had to carry him in, but as soon as Miss D saw him, she was off to help get his breakfast. He sat down to eat it like he hadn't been away. I know how he felt. After 20 minutes at my desk I felt I hadn't been away either. It was good to be back at work, but it's even better to be taking Wednesday off! A long overdue haircut, a look around the sales and lunch with Mr T - an overdue birthday treat. I'm looking forward to it already. And tonight I went out for a quick run/plod - only a couple of miles, it was treacherous. the streets were like skating rinks. Must try and finish my book tonight. Almost there. I am enjoying Spilling the Beans. A priviledged and troubled life.
